Measuring Standards
There are a number of measuring standards that specify how unit and building areas are to be calculated for the various property types. Some of which include BOMA 1980, BOMA 1996, BOMA / SIOR 2004 and TARION’s Bulletin 22. PLANiT’s Technicians, Professional Engineers and BOMA Certified Measurement Professionals all have expert level understanding of all measuring standards. Leave the work to us in determining which standard is relevant for your building, the various interpretations and nuances as they apply to your facility and supporting the calculations going forward. Receive an inquiry from a tenant’s representative years down the road and you can be assured that we will be here to help you to explain the methodology and calculation.
