STANDARDS

PLANiT Measuring works hard to meet and uphold industry standards and requirements. We can review your lease to make sure that the square footage is calculated properly.

Certification

We are the only measuring company to hold a Certificate of Authorization from Professional Engineers Association in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta. As such, we can provide in-house Engineering Certification for any property.

Errors and Omissions Insurance

We are fully covered by complete Errors and Omissions Insurance. If requested, we will forward a certificate of insurance in your company's name once a commercial contract has been accepted.

BOMA Standard

Since 1915, the BOMA Standard has been the only floor measurement method for commercial real estate approved by the American National Standards Institute.

In 1996, it was revised to differentiate common areas that benefit all tenants (building common) from floor-specific common areas (floor common).
