What is the MeasuringBoard®?
The MeasuringBoard® is an engineered integration of a laser measuring device, proprietary software designed for as-built building data collection, sophisticated CAD technology and a Tablet PC. It allows our Technicians to generate accurate, real-time digital drawings and Building Information Models (BIMs) for any type of building, complete with area calculations, material lists and more. It offers the flexibility to easily transform that data into other formats like high definition 3D plans and animated walk-throughs.
How does it work?
To create your digital models, our professional Technicians use the MeasuringBoard® to rapidly sketch and note the features of the space. Laser measuring technology wirelessly communicates with the drawing to automatically position the building components and, automated edit checks ensure accuracy.
Using this process, we can present you with dimensionally accurate digital models of your building in a fraction of the time of traditional methods and in variety of formats including web-enabled products, universal CAD formats or printable PDF.
