President

In 1993, engineer Mike Laurie recognized a need for qualified professionals within the building measuring/floor plan industry. He founded PLANiT Measuring to meet that need, offering clients a professional, accurate service for measuring residential and commercial spaces. Under his guidance, PLANiT has become a recognized leader in professional building measuring.

Mike’s background is as a designer and builder of residential and light commercial space. His qualifications include an Engineering degree and certification by the Association of Professional Engineers to perform commercial space audits. Read more in Mike's Blog.

Peter VanderHelm,
CGA

With over 20 years experience in several different industries in both Canada and the USA, Peter now provides business and financial advisory services to a select group of Canadian clients. His background in finance, operational turn arounds and senior management provides a unique abililty for him to provide both visionary and hands on support to his clients. Peter joined PlanIt's team in 2005.

Hitendra has been with PlanIt for the past 10 years. He was instrumental in the development, testing and training for the Measuring Board technology.

David Mimms, BA,

Mr Mimms is the Legal Counsel at  Tesma International Inc., a public subsidiary of Magna International. David was previously the Principal of a successful business/real estate law practice. He has worked as a Consultant to a Director at Merrill Lynch Canada.
